Matt Cooper is the Managing Director of Fund Operations at GEM. In this role, Matt leads all Fund Operations groups, which include the Trading, Portfolio Operations, Portfolio Reporting, Investment Operations, and Fund Accounting Teams. He is responsible for providing oversight for all fund structuring and portfolio rebalancing efforts. Prior to joining GEM in 2011, Matt spent five years as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. Matt received a B.A. in Economics and a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a CPA and CFA Charterholder.
